4th Year Urdu Celebration is here- Jashn-e- Rekhta

The Rekhta foundation has announced its festival Jashn-e-Rekhta starting 8^th Dec 2017and concluding on the 10^th Dec 2017.Jashn-e-Rekhta is an annual event organized by Rekhta Foundation to celebrate the spirit and eloquence of Urdu. Rekhta foundation has been making dedicated efforts to preserve and promote Urdu language.

Rekhta Foundation in a short span of 4 years have become the biggest online source of Urdu literature and poetry. To rejuvenate the Urdu language Rekhta foundation follows the ways of projects and events. This is the fourth year in succession that Jashn-e-rekhta is organized.

The three day event creates a strong awareness about the language Urdu and its development in the subcontinent. The festival gives exposure to the multi-faceted aspect of the language through the various events like performances, recitations, mushairas, panel discussions, debates, conversation on films, calligraphy workshop. The idea is to help the attendees to discover the various elements of the language.

Jashn-e-Rekhta garners an overwhelming response and appreciation with the support and participation of over 100 most distinguished writers, poets, artists, litterateurs, singers and acclaimed personalities from India and elsewhere.
