The questionnaire with Neha Shwens Firoz

1.       How did you first get involved in with writing, are you an imaginative person?

There was a time when I used to write in diaries. I was very fond of writing. But at that time, I had no sense that this passion for writing could also by profession. I still remember the day when my friend advised me to write a book knowing my interest in writing. Since then It became my aim to write a book. And yes, I'm an imaginative girl so it was never too tough to write ever for me.

2.       What do you find most challenging about your writing?

Now I'm thinking over to write a true story of someone's life. Therefore, it's going to be more challenging for me. To write based on imagination is simple for me than writing something true.

3.       What do you do when you are not writing?

When I'm not writing, I read novels as well as religious books.

4.       Where do you see yourself in the next 6 months?

In the next 6 months, I see me as a Founder of my own 'Tanzo Open Mic for students.

5.       How do you keep coming up with material/content for your story?

Imagination, observation, understanding, experiences and family support give me content for my write-up.

6.       Any specific tips you have for new writers who want to make it big in the world of published books?

Dear writers,
You can't think yourself a writer unless you fall in love with the idea of reading. Don't limit your reading to a genre. Read different books to gain free perspective like I get the help of this from my literary advisor who always recommends me books to read.

Direct your focus on your feelings, idea and opinions; and how to put them on papers.

Write for yourself; rewrite for others'…this is one of the greatest writing tips for beginners anyone could give you. Know your audience better than they know themselves. Act as if you are speaking to one person and write accordingly to create an emotional tie with your readers. One great way to do that is to connect with your readers to learn their perspective, their side of the story. Make your readers feel something.

7.       What’s the best thing a writer can give to his readers?

Love, stress reduction, vocabulary expansion, concentration, better writing skills etc.

8.       Where is your favourite place to write?

My room where I spend most of my time in peace.

9.       What motivates you most in life?

It was my sister late. Tanzo who used to inspire me to do what I love and dream to be. She's not around me but her words motivate me always.

10.   What are your views on increasing plagiarism?

It's very sad that people do so. They can steal words but not the creative writers have in their writing.

11.   What is the story behind the name of your book?

Filled with questions and themes of clashing backgrounds, crime, suspense, love, family feuds and personal scandals, this book will have you flipping through the pages anxiously. It brings you back to the realities of life: how fragile love can be and the realizations of trust and fear. Hotbed Against Bond of Love narrates the relationship between Mayank and Naina and offers a unique reading experience. Direct and action-packed, the masterful use of emotion and suspense will keep you totally engrossed and guessing until the end.
