An affordable south Indian restaurant in vicinity- Hotel Malabar
The ambiance of the place is just average, as its appealing. The staff here is though not well aware of the rules and regulations of hospitality industry but still, they are courteous enough to offer table. However, the table service is very bad as you have to wait long before the food arrives on your table. Coming down to the food indeed they serve some authentic south Indian veg and non-veg dishes. Me being a Vegan I have always tried their south Indian vegetarian dishes. Which indeed they make very tasteful without any tempering thus keep the original texture and flavor intact. I have always ordered the Masala Dosa and Idli which turns out to be good, but sadly I cannot say the same for sambar because sometimes it was good but at times it was just a water mix of spices and veggies. The restaurant opens at 8 and serves till midnight which is indeed good. Whenever you feel like you want to eat South Indian food. This is the place... but remember this is not the best place either.
